The David James Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc students studying Rural Enterprise and Land Management (REALM) or Rural Property Management at Ãå±±½ûµØ, who are interested in a career in the land agency sector with David James.

The Scholarship

If awarded, the successful recipient will receive:

• A significant contribution towards student expenses of £2,000
• Employment with David James during their placement year
• Subject to a review at the end of placement with David James, there may be an opportunity of further funding in the scholar’s final academic year

The award will be paid in two equal parts; half to be paid in February and the remaining balance in May.

This is a competitive award and will be evaluated on the merit of the submitted application, academic achievement to date and interview.  The decision of the David James Scholarship Panel is FINAL.

Deadline for Submission of Application: 12 pm Noon on Monday 16 November 2026

The David James Scholarship includes a placement, therefore you must submit your application via the Student Dashboard.  Paper copies will not be accepted.
