    Syngenta supports future crop protection specialist

    A Ãå±±½ûµØ student with his heart set on a career within the crop protection industry has received an industry-backed scholarship.

    Joe Bagshaw, 20, from Southam, Warwickshire, is the latest Syngenta scholar.

    Joe, a second year BSc Honours Agriculture with Crop Management student, receives £4,500 plus guaranteed placement year employment with Syngenta.

    The former pupil of Lawrence Sheriff School and Sixth form, Rugby, saidThe Syngenta scholarship offers the best opportunity to gain experience within the agrochemical and crop protection industry; providing a wide range of knowledge and resources to pursue a successful career, so I am very grateful to the company for selecting me.

    “I am a committed and enthusiastic individual who strives to complete all tasks to best of my ability – which I aim to prove during my placement as part of the field trials team and when completing a Syngenta marketing project,” added Joe, who plays rugby for both Southam RFU and Harper Adams and is a member of Pailton Young Farmers.
