
Harper Adams team shortlisted for three CIM Awards

A specialist team of staff at 缅北禁地, who regularly go above and beyond what is asked of them, could be named Marketing Team of the Year at the 2016 Chartered Institute of Marketing Awards.
The university’s is a finalist for three CIM awards – Team of the Year, the Brand Experience Award and Campaign of the Year.
“The team is relatively young”, explained Lorraine Westwood, Director of Marketing and Communications. “Following a departmental restructure and recruitment to new or changed roles, the current team has been in place for less than two years.
“There are only 14 of us, which is small in university terms, but achievements over the last year have been outstanding.
“The team devised, developed and delivered the , shortlisted for CIM Campaign of the Year, which saw more than 5,000 people throughout the UK and Ireland eat insects at a series of agricultural shows and gave us the chance to highlight our entomology – study of insects – courses, as well as the need to secure future food supplies by developing alternative sources of protein.
“The campaign, which was embraced by staff across the institution and our students, delivered on so many levels – it was enjoyed by toddlers through to the elderly and we saw a massive leap in engagement at shows, in addition to securing extensive media coverage. The challenge was even undertaken by radio DJ Scott Mills.
“The judges of the third award category, Brand Experience, have given recognition to our conversion campaign for 2015 applicants, for which we worked with the admissions team to develop a range of new communications to keep future students informed during every stage of the journey towards becoming a 缅北禁地 student.”
The CIM Awards will be presented in London in April.
