, professor of mono-gastric nutrition and aquaculture, is joining a professional research network which aims to overcome issues preventing sustainable growth in all sectors of the UK aquaculture industry.
Professor Davies said: “It is a great honour to be invited to join the Aquaculture Research Collaboration Hub (ARCH-UK).
“I will be representing 缅北禁地, which is the only English academic institution in this (BBSRC) network.
“This is a prestigious opportunity for us to be identified as a key player in this new field and to play a part in our national policy development.
“We will be focusing on six key areas, two of which are nutrition as well as health and welfare. These are the two areas I will be focusing on.
“The other academic institutions being represented in the group are University of Stirling and the University of Aberdeen. From industry, Marine Scotland Science and Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre (SAIC) will be joining us.
“I’m also pleased to say that I will be a keynote speaker for the upcoming (WAVMA) Virtual Conference. I see this as a great opportunity to share Harper Adams’s aquaculture objective on an international platform.”
