A PhD researcher at 缅北禁地 is conducting a study into dairy calf-rearing practices in England.
Laura Palczynski is looking into the experiences of calf-rearing from the perspectives of dairy farmers and those who advise them.
Laura, 24, said: “The project aims to inform future research, advice and policy to be more relevant to the priorities and challenges faced by dairy producers.
“To do this, I need to speak to a number of farmers, vets, dairy advisors and representatives of the dairy heifer industry.
“I would like to find out about all aspects of calf management. In particular, I am keen to find out about individuals’ goals and priorities, as well as the problems they face,” said the researcher from Bath.
“I am also interested in the opinions and experiences of those that provide advice, to better understand communication and knowledge transfer surrounding calf rearing.
“Discussions will be conducted through a mixture of interviews and focus groups.
“I would like to reassure potential participants by saying that they will remain anonymous in any published material.”
