We judge all candidates on their individual merits.

The minimum requirement for postgraduate courses is usually an honours degree (at least a 2:2 or equivalent) or HND with relevant experience, or equivalent (please check the individual course pages for exact requirements). These requirements may be relaxed if you have a cognate degree or are a non-graduate with extensive, relevant professional experience*.

*Which demonstrates the outcomes that a bachelor's degree with honours would have, as stipulated by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education, 2008.

Before you apply

You will need to have all of the following items ready to upload as part of the online application process:

• Qualifications and transcripts
• Personal statement
• We will require the contact details of two people who are able to provide you with a reference. One should be someone who has worked with you most recently in either an academic or professional capacity. Please ensure that they are happy to do this for you. We will only contact them if we have any concerns around your application. By providing their details you are giving your consent for them to be contacted

PLUS for international students only:

• IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate or similar
• Scan of the photograph page of your passport

Applications

Finding and applying for a postgraduate degree is straightforward with our online system. You can:

• Apply online in your own time - you can complete the form in stages until the closing date.
• Be sure your application has been received - we'll email you confirmation.

Scholarships

We cannot offer scholarships or bursaries to international students directly so please be aware of this before making an application.
