A supportive community

Starting university is exciting but is also a big step: living away from home, making new friends, finding your feet. It's natural to feel nervous but we're here to support you.

We want you to be happy and successful here so don't keep problems to yourself. Whatever you need, from support with disabilities or learning difficulties to homesickness or illness let us know and we'll do our best to help.

You'll find everything you need in the Faccenda student centre, the home of our friendly Student Services team and Students' Union. Experienced advisors can help you with accommodation, managing money, careers and placements, health problems, and give support to international students or those with disabilities or learning needs.
